Aaron

Aaron has been busy lately. This is nothing new for him, the boy just knows how to go and go. When we first got married he was working for ABCO. sign group. I remember him getting up at 2 AM to go to work once and then he was gone for 3 or 4 days. But once he started going to UTI his schedule was even more demanding. up at 5:30 to be at school on time then to work and home around 7:00. He did this everyday for a year and a half. I say this because I am amazed that he just does. I like being home, and am thankful that my main role is mother, not father :) Aaron is going to school at GCC right now and is still working. I am thankful that he likes to work and is willing to go back to school to help him progress.

Daisy's First Trip to Pinetop...

Last Thursday Daisy and I drove up to Pinetop to visit Grandma Trish and Grandpa Dave. It was her first of many trips to Pinetop. Aaron couldn't go because of work and school, but we made the best of times without him. It was sooo cold up there. Its been a few years since I have felt the chill of 9 degrees. We had a fun time with Grandma Trish and it was nice to get out of town.

Oops...

Its funny to me that poo has become such a big part of the day.

Two Month Stats

As of last Friday the 28th of Jan. Daisy is now two months old. I know every one says its goes by so fast... but it seriously does. I keep thinking I haven't been pregnant for two months : ) It has been a great two months... It amazes me how much I can learn in such a short amount of time, and amazes me more that I have only been a Mom for two months and I have a limetime of learning ahead of me. Daisy has been a very good baby so far. She has her days of gassy tummy and constant eating, but hey who doesn't? Its so fun to see how much she has changed and is growing. She is a very smiley girl and loves to suck on her fingers. The bigger she gets the more she looks like Aaron. Her ears just this week started to look exactly like his. I love her little voice and every little coo, I even find it cute when she cries (for a second). She farts a lot. She is a pretty good sleeper and has 6-8 hour stretches on a good day (knock on wood). She is also a very strong baby with very good neck and head control. Our pediatrician even commented on her strength.  Her hair is still dark and hasn't fallen out. It is also very soft, but gets super oily very fast. She weighs 11 pounds and 2 ounces & is 22 3/4 inches long. She is in the 50% percentile in both weight and heigth. I love that her and I get to spend our days together. I feel so lucky to be able to stay home with her and I know its a blessing for me and her to have that opportunity because of a good hardworking Dad and husband.

Christmas Catch up....

For the past few years the Merrill family Christmas party is held a week after Christmas. This year it was at Heidi's house. We have mexican food and a white elephant party, its fun to gather together every year as family.
Daisy getting ready for the party.

I am not sure what we're doing here... just adoring the baby I guess.

Daisy has enough hair that it can be clipped, although it isn't an easy task to put it in her hair.

hmmmm.... : )

This was the kids Christmas game. They passed gifts around and when the music stopped they got to keep the gift in their lap.

Pete, Mel, and Daisy.

This is sad but this one of the only pictures of Aaron, me and Daisy... I should probable do something about that.

And sisters....

Daisy's Blessing...

This post is a little behind, but Daisy was blessed a few Sunday's ago. It was a good day. Aaron gave a very sweet blessing and we had a lot of family come to support Daisy.
