Fourth of July 2011

For the third year Aaron and went up to Pinetop for the fourth of July. I love going up there for the 4th. I get a stronger feeling of patriotism in a small community and love to see and feel patriotism. Anyway Aaron and I went up to Pinetop the Wednesday before the fourth for a mini vacation and to escape the 118 degree weather. When we got there it was just us and my Dad since my mom had flown back to Arkansas to drive back with Jill and her kids who wouldn't arrive till Friday when everyone else was coming up. We just relaxed, did a puzzle, watched movies, and made a trip to Wal-mart. Aaron always has to point out how weird small town Wal-mart people are, but I am of the opinion that no matter what Wal-mart you go to its a magnet for the strange and toothless. After everyone arrived on Friday Aaron and I went and saw Transformers 3. Aaron really liked it, it was a boy movie for sure. I thought it was entertaining enough. Aaron didn't get to stay till the fourth because he had to work, but the fireworks were cancelled due to the dry conditions so he only missed the parade. It also rained while we were up there. I love the rain in the white mountains! It was probably one of my favorite things about he whole weekend.

I love to watch my nieces and nephews play. This is Parker, Abbey, Paisley, and Laine.

This was Saturday afternoon. All the boys went fishing up at Hawley Lake.

Uncle Jeremiah made bottle rockets, it was a hit.

We all went on a walk around Woodland Lake at sunset. This picture doesn't to it justice, it was the most beautiful evening.
