Last September my sister Heidi found a deal on Wicked tickets for groups. So my whole family decided to go. It was so fun! We ate a the Cheesecake Factory then headed over to Gamage for the show. This was the first time in my memory that all of my siblings and their spouses were all together without any kids. We should do it more often.
This was a rare snuggle from Daisy. It was late in the evening and she just wanted her dad.
This cute little dress was made by Daisy's Great Grandma. I love that she has so many wonderful grandparents to love on her. I also got a lot of compliments on this dress at church.
Last weekend we made a quick get a way to Sedona. It was beautiful. We ate lunch and had homemade ice cream. We were also given an uninvited little lesson on some kind of vortex and crystals... needless to say there were some interesting people there.
And to wrap up the month Daisy got strep throat. I took her to the doctor last Tuesday but her test came back negative. So the week went on and she had a low fever in the evenings and a runny nose. But on Friday night her cough tightened and her temp rose to 103.2. So we made a midnight run to Urgent Care to confirm what I thought she had on Tuesday, strep. She is now on antibiotics and is still a sickly girl, but she is doing better.
Poor Daisy....hope she feels better soon :(
ReplyDeleteI can't help but think that Daisy thinks the world revolves around her. And that that is a sweet place to be for little Daisy. You're a great mom, Lee.
