March in No Particular Order

Life has been busy. Sometimes the days feel long but then they are over and a new day starts again. I am watching 3 other children part time. I love having little playmates for Daisy and keeping myself busy. I have been lifting too lately and I think things may be feeling a little firmer, one way or another I enjoy going to the gym. I also have been busy with my calling at church. I am the secretary and most of my Sundays are spent in the hallways making copies and chasing Rockwell. He will be big enough for nursery in three months. I don't know what I will do with myself when I won't have him to wrestle for two hours.

My evening are usually spent semi-alone, waiting for Aaron to get home from school. But without fail after I put kids to bed this big, weird cat, comes for some lovin and I give it to him. It must be the high light of his life.

I got a new iPhone last week. I LOVE it! I had a droid razor and do not recommend it to anyone. It was painfully slow. So through a series of circumstances that are too boring to write down, I ended up with the new iPhone. I have been playing with all the apps that it has to offer, like picture editing. Its fun.

Bode's baptism was yesterday. It was sweet to see this little boy make such an important decision. I love that all my nieces and nephews are choosing to be baptized. I love that Daisy has such good little people to look up to. I didn't take many pictures but I did span this one of me and my mom. She is a pretty lady.

See more iPhone playing. We were having fun Friday night playing outside in the cool air. Daisy is a pretty girl. As I write this post she says " Mom you need to get me some yogurt right now or I am going to take away your phone"... haha. I am not getting her yogurt.

Rockwell is 15 and half months old now. He got his shots on Friday and did get. He weighs 19.2 pounds and is 32 inches long. I can tell he is getting longer. He is still my tiny boy. He is in the 10th percentile and I love it.

He is also growing up too fast. I know that I have said that before and I will say it again. But really he just does more and more big boy things all the time. He has been playing with the phone and says "ehwoo".

Last Thursday at Relief Society my most beloved flip flops broke. I bought these when I was pregnant with Daisy from Target. Not bad for cheap flip flops.

I
I have avoided planting anything in our planter for a few reasons. The last time I tried my hand at gardening I failed and wasted money. So I haven't planted anything in there for two years. But I decided that we needed to beautify our back yard a bit and what is more beautiful than flowers?

Some days I have to remind myself that this little girl is still just three and very little. She is a very capable kid, at least I think. So I get mad when she refuses to do the simply things. She is so stubborn, a trait she inherited from her dad ;). I love her so much though. I love her words, her kindness, her creativity. I just like her. I think she like me too :).

He is a mamma's boy.

A boy's body. Cute buns. Oh to be naked, one, and only wearing socks.

I have not mastered the "selfie" I don't know how people can take 7 pictures a day of themselves and then post them constantly onto social media. I like a personal picture every now and then. But selfies annoy me, mostly because I can't take them. This was the night Aaron and I went to Flemming's Steak House. Just so you know it was the best and most expensive meal I have ever had. Thank heavens we had gift cards.

Daisy loves to be in the garage with Aaron, and she gets dirty. Very dirty.

Let's bring on April.

Italian Ice

Last Saturday was Daisy's little friend Allie's 3rd birthday. As I have mentioned before I watch Allie part time and we really like Allie. Her and Daisy are best friends, they play really well together and I am very thankful. We got an invite to Allie's birthday at Rita's. I had never been, but its an Italian Ice and custard shop. Personally I didn't really like the Italian ice, it was a little watery for my taste. But the fun part of the party was all the kids getting to help make some.

Her face made me laugh.

Stirring...

On the left is Allie, then Daisy then Kailynn, whom I also watch a day or two a week. These girl are fun together.
Rockwell got to come along too.

And the birthday girl.

Pink

Pink Sunglasses, pink boots, and a pink mask. Can you tell he has a big sister?

The Grand Canyon

So the Grand Canyon is only an hours drive from Williams and since I have never seen it we thought why not? I did go when I was one but that doesn't really count. It really is grand and amazing.

Bearizona

So for the last 10 months tickets to Bearizona have been hanging on our fridge. Aaron got them from a website that gives tickets away to members of the military. We finally had a free weekend and took the chance to get there. Its in Williams so we made a weekend of it. It was a cold and rainy trip but we didn't mind at all because it made it more of an adventure. So Bearizona was pretty neat. Its kind of like a drive through zoo for wild animals that are native to North America.

Daisy was into it.

The wolf enclosure was fun. They walked right up to the car.

One of them sniffed our backup camera, it was really funny.

Here are the white buffalo. I don't think I have seen white buffalo before.
There were lots of animals like big horned sheep, mountain goats, bison and of course...

Bears! There were lots of these big guys walking around. I never got a good shot but if you look close you can see one.

After you drive through the 3 miles animal habitats there is a normal zoo and a petting zoo to walk through.
The weather was nice, it stopped raining long enough for us to walk around and then it started to snow as soon as we pack up the stroller.
I think it would be safe to say that Rockwell was the biggest fan of the animals. Daisy had fun too, but Rockwell just giggled and giggle at all the animals.

He even pet the goat.

Daisy stayed in the stroller and was more concerned about the goat poop on the wheels. She did like looking from a far though, like me.

This picture does not portray the mood Daisy was in. She was such a good girl and was very interested in the animals.

All this little boy wanted to do was run around.

Our favorites were the otters. They were so cute and social-able. The guys was pretty interested in us too.

After Bearizona we drove into Williams for dinner. Daisy and I got hot cocoa and it was delicious.

We walked around Williams for a while too. A lot of shops were closed due to the weather and the busy season doesn't start for another month, but it was really fun to walk around all the old route 66 things. Someday I will buy this little boy a coon skin cap because this was one of the cutest little boy things ever. It was just a good day.

Start em Young...

We went to a car show in Sun City a few weekends ago. I think Aaron's plan is to get Rockwell to love cars as much as him so he has an excuse to by project cars for his son every few years.

Sunday Mornings

We have one O'clock church this year. I am not going to pretend that it is my favorite time to go, if I had it my way we would go at eight, but I don't and we will survive. Most morning this is how Aaron looks till about eleven. This picture made me laugh.

Daisy's doctor kit came with these cool glasses and she wanted pictures. From around 5 till bedtime is usually the rougher time of the day, but lately I have been enjoying it. I have kids at my house most everyday all day, so when its just me and my kids here its kind of fun. We play.
