Lizard Spit

Energetic is probably the best word to describe Daisy right now. She is very enthusiastic, very imaginative. Since we live in the desert we don't get too much water. A few weeks ago it had rained in the night, when we went outside to check the flowers, she saw rain on the slide. She looked at it and asked me if it were lizard spit. I laughed :).

Being three can be rough sometimes. You don't get apple juice whenever you want it, a puzzle piece doesn't fit, your little brother looks at you...rough stuff;). Her and I go through a lot trying to find the groove to helper learn how to handle all the problems that happen throughout the day. A few days ago we had an issue. Daisy got mad that rocky walked in front of her, which lead to a rather large fit. Her and I talked about it the whole way home and during our conversation she very sincerely told me that she is just learning. It can be hard to handle big emotions in little bodies. She is such a sweet and smart girl.

Princesses are in vogue at our house right now. I got a bundle of dresses at the goodwill and she and her little friends run around in them all day.

I like them.

She finally wrote her name, her whole name. That s and y can be tricky.

They can play together so well. He is still the little brother but she sure loves him. They will both find each other their blankets when one of them is sad. It must be important to have that blankie. Rocky calls his B...

Let It Go!

Rocky is losing his baby. Every day he does something more big boy than the day before. He started singing let it go this week, and it's the cutest little thing. He screams it and mans it up.

On this particular day, I think he realized that he was the only boy, with a bunch of girls, at the mall in Bath and Bodyworks. His expression is just pure boredom, and why me?
He loves to get behind the wheel.

He is still a tiny boy, but I can see him getting longer little by little.
I still get him a bottle in the morning and at night. It's my way of cliniging to him being a baby. He will snuggle with me for half an hour, and I soak it all up.
Always full of smiles. Although lately he says no to everything and those smiles are getting replaced by furrowed brows and frowns.

He took this picture of his foot the other day. Just a tiny little foot.
Snuggles with dad.
Everyone should have a little boy, I highly recommend it.

New Job

About a year ago Aaron decided he was not going to go to school for computer programming. He experimented with that, and realized it wasn't for him. So he decided he was going to try police work one more time. To make a long story short, it didn't work out. The Lord finally said, "hey you've tried this like six times, I'm saying no". I don't remember how much longer after not getting on with the police, that he came to me with the idea of working at Palo Verde. After exploring the career field a little bit and speaking to a good friend who worked out there for years, Aaron enrolled in the programs offered through the Estrella community college and Palo Verde. He started last January, and found this was a great fit. It's very neat to look back over the last five years and see the Lord's hand in our life and seeall of the things that have happened to help us move to this point. Aaron works harder than anybody I know, and all of the training, schooling, and job experiences have helped him get a great job out there at palo verde. He will do a four-year apprenticeship, and when that is finished he will just work out there do ing I don't know yet :-). We are very excited to start this new phase of life, and aare very grateful. In the meantime we have decided to sell our house. We are also learning that it's very stressful to try and sell our house. There's lots to be done. Including fixing my kitchen cabinets. When I first did them I was very proud of myself. I still am pretty proud of myself. But they may not be too appealing to a buyer. So we're going to fix those and many other things that we have put off for the last five years living in this house. Aaron has been pretty handy getting things done.

He had a naked little helper. The cutest little helper.

Labor Day

I think these pictures are pretty self-explanatory. Cousins. Dirt. Yummy food. All the combinations for a great Labor Day family reunion. Every year the Fleming Family reunion is held in Strawberry. On the way out there though Daisy kept asking when we are going to get to blueberry, it was very cute.

He really is the cutest little boy.

Games.

Aaron got to play game where he ate a donut. Looks like he was really enjoying his donut.

On Sunday night Rocky got a little fever. He played very very hard. And this was him konked out on the way home.

Daisy has reached the wonderful age where she just plays and plays and plays. She loved having cousins and dirt play to with. She was the best camper.
