New Job
About a year ago Aaron decided he was not going to go to school for computer programming. He experimented with that, and realized it wasn't for him. So he decided he was going to try police work one more time. To make a long story short, it didn't work out. The Lord finally said, "hey you've tried this like six times, I'm saying no". I don't remember how much longer after not getting on with the police, that he came to me with the idea of working at Palo Verde. After exploring the career field a little bit and speaking to a good friend who worked out there for years, Aaron enrolled in the programs offered through the Estrella community college and Palo Verde. He started last January, and found this was a great fit. It's very neat to look back over the last five years and see the Lord's hand in our life and seeall of the things that have happened to help us move to this point. Aaron works harder than anybody I know, and all of the training, schooling, and job experiences have helped him get a great job out there at palo verde. He will do a four-year apprenticeship, and when that is finished he will just work out there do ing I don't know yet :-). We are very excited to start this new phase of life, and aare very grateful. In the meantime we have decided to sell our house. We are also learning that it's very stressful to try and sell our house. There's lots to be done. Including fixing my kitchen cabinets. When I first did them I was very proud of myself. I still am pretty proud of myself. But they may not be too appealing to a buyer. So we're going to fix those and many other things that we have put off for the last five years living in this house. Aaron has been pretty handy getting things done.
