Have I ever mentioned that I love cats. I like dogs, good dogs, but I have always liked cats. This little guys is my mom's neighbor. I currently have no desire to own a cat of my own, but I still love to hold a little kitty whenever I get the chance.
One afternoon we went to Woodland Park for an adventure. I spent some many hours here growing up. Sometimes I get a little sad that my children will grow up in the desert, so I am happy to give them healthy doses of mountain living.
On another day we went on a hike around Brown's Creek with my parents. Sadly, for the first time that I can every remember, there was not water in Brown's Creek. It was still a nice hike and fun to explore.
I guess there was enough water to make small splashes. :)
I have noticed that I am horrible about getting picture of Grandma Rena and Grandpa Steve. We are with them so often on normal everydays that I don't think to pull out my camera. But I did get one of Grandpa Steve keeping dirt throwing in check in Grandma Barbara's garden.
There is a picture of Aaron and all of his Brooks cousins on this same step when they were all younger. It stays on the fridge in the cabin and is always fun to look at. So we decided that every trip up to the cabin, we will be doing this photo so we can look back over time and see how everyone changes. This was about as good as these kids were going to get. We are glamorous bunch!
