So far this year I haven't missed an opportunity to make a trip up to Pinetop. This is the first time since I left home that I was up in there in September. It was gorgeous! The late late summer/early fall colors and rain storms have made the mountain so beautiful. I am glad that my parents let me come and crash their week. They are very busy with work and church, but I am glad that my kids get to go up to Grandma Boo's, as Daisy calls it. ( She also calls Aaron's Mom Rena, Grandma April. She has apparently associated Grandmas by their dogs)
We went and fed the ducks the last evening we were there and quickly forgot about the ducks because the the scenery was so pretty.
It texted this picture to Aaron with the caption: "this is what fall should look like". This was an awesome rain and thunderstorm that made its way over my parents house. Fall in the valley is just sad. We pretend with our fall decorations but we're not fooling anyone.
And Boo the most beloved dog.
